Returning items to the library
The best way to return books is to to use the self-service machines found in the libraries in the ATC, David Hockney and Trinity Green libraries.
Items should be returned to the library they were borrowed from, but if you are unable to do this you can return them to any Library.

Returning items at the David Hockney building
There is a book return box located in the atrium of the David Hockney building, near the reception area.
Returning items at the Lister building
There is a book return box located in the foyer area of Lister, on the left hand side before you go through the barriers.
If you return an item using one of the book return boxes it will not be taken off your record immediately, though we will send you an email to your College account once it has been done.
Returning items if you are unable to get into College
If for any reason you are unable to get to College and have items which need to be returned you can post them, or use a courier service.
A proof of postage will NOT indicate that we have received any items
We strongly recommend that you use a recorded delivery service.
This will provide you with a level of insurance as you will be liable for any items which we do not receive.

Email notification of returned items.
You will be sent an email to your College account to let you know of any items that have been returned.
If you used a book box to return your items then you will receive an email when the box has been emptied and the items returned on our library system.
If you do not receive an email confirming the return of items then please contact the library.
