Using the Library

A few basics to help new and existing Library users at Bradford College.
Requesting items
If there is an item in the library that you would like to borrow, you can request it and we will let you know when it is available to collect.
If the item is in one of Libraries we will collect it within one working day.
If it is on loan we will stop the item renewing and as soon as it is returned we will let you know.
All you have to do is wait for an email telling you that we have your item ready for you to collect. You can then borrow it at one of our self-service machines.
If you have any questions please email askalibrarian@bradfordcollege.ac.uk.

Requesting books from the library takes just a few clicks.
Once you have searched using the Library Catalogue you will get a list of results.
You can click on Request a copy from the results lists or item details page.
Confirm you want to Request a copy
You will now be asked to log in to your Library account.
Your College number is the one that appears on your College card.
Your PIN is the year you were born (e.g. 2007).
Details of the requested item will be displayed.
You can choose which Library to collect it from
Use Confirm reservations to complete the request.
You will now see the reservations section of your library account.
