Using the Library: Borrowing items

A few basics to help new and existing Library users at Bradford College.

Borrowing items

Items in the main library collection are all available on Two Week Loan, unless identified as Reference.
Once borrowed, and if no one else requests it, an item will automatically renew a week before the due date.
If someone requests an item you have then it will not renew and you will need to bring it back by the due date.
Items will automatically renew a total of 20 times.
If you do not return the items by their due date you will be charged a fine for every day the item is late.
You can borrow up to 20 books from our collection, this can include textbooks, reading collection items, or DVDs.
It is really important that you keep an eye on your library record so that you know if an item has been renewed or requested.
We also email your College email address with details of any items issued, returned or requested, so keep checking this.
