Library Champions

The Library has introduced the Library Champions scheme to Bradford College.  A Library Champion is a student volunteer who will play an important role in championing the library to students and staff. They will also  provide insight into the needs of students, what resources they require and how the Library can meet those needs.

The Library Champions will provide a connection between their departments and the Library to help ensure the services and resources provided by the Library meet the needs of College students.

We hope to have at least one Library Champion from each department so we can get a view from all across College

Feedback forms

You can send us any comments or suggestions you have using our online feedback form. or you can fill in a paper form at the Library Information Desk.

Satisfaction Surveys

We welcome feedback through various satisfaction surveys that you may be asked to fill in.  We take the results very seriously and find the comments particularly useful.  These include:

The NSS survey: This is for Higher Education students.  Question 19 refers to the library and reads: "The library resources (e.g. books, online services and learning spaces) have supported my learning well."  Participants have to give the library a mark out of 5, with, 5 being the highest mark.

Student Experience SurveyThis is an internal survey run by the college that asks questions after your induction (usually in October), and after your course (usually around April).  This is for students to feed back on all aspects of their course including Library resources.

Library survey: the library runs surveys most years, both using printed forms and online.
