Distance Learners: Moodle

What is Moodle?

Moodle is the College's Virtual Learning Environment.   

On Moodle you can find lots of of course information which may include module handbooks, information about assessments and lectures, interactive learning materials, and general course communication.  

You may also be told to use Turnitin on Moodle to hand in your assignments, this is tool which which is used to check your work for plagiarism.

Accessing Moodle

To access Moodle  you use the same Username and password as for your IT account.  

You will have been enrolled on the relevant modules that relate to your course. 

You can see all of your modules if you click on "My Courses " towards the top of the screen.

There is also a HELP button which will allow you to message whatever you are having a problem with to the helpdesk.   It will also give you  them an option to leave a message which will be sent directly to the helpdesk.
