How to use the Libraries self-service kiosks

How to pay your fines

Here you can find help on using the Library's self service kiosks to pay any money you owe the Library. The Kiosks will accept notes and coins and give change.

If you have any trouble please ask a member of Library staff.

Swipe or use the arrows to navigate through the guide.

To pay your fines come to a self-service kiosk.

To make a payment press

Make Payment

To pay any money you will need to log in, to do this you must scan your College card.

Place  your card with your picture facing up so the red light shines on the barcode.

You now have to to enter your PIN.  

This is the year you were born as four numbers, e.g. 2001.

Once you have entered your PIN press

Enter

If this doesn't work, please ask at the Library Information Desk.

At the top of the screen you will be shown how much you currently owe the library.

Use the number pad to say how much you want to pay.

Remember you fines will need to be below £10.00 to allow you to borrow.

Once you have chosen how much you want to pay press

Pay
To pay everything press Pay All

Now enter the amount you have chosen to pay.

Put notes in the glowing blue slot on the side of the kiosks and coins in the slot beneath it.

The machine will give change if you put in more than you owe or more than you chose to pay.

Payment

After you have put in the amount you want to pay the following message appears now press

OK

If you are owed any change this will be paid below where you deposited the money.

A reciept will be printed from the front of the machine.
