Help in the Library

More than just books
The Library is available to all Bradford College Students and Staff.
We provide research, referencing and study skill tutorials in addition to books, journal articles, and many online resources.

One-to-one Support

Students are welcome to book one-to-one sessions with their Librarian.
Your Librarian can help you to identify relevant resources, offer refresher or advanced sessions on using databases or e-books, help using journals or finding information online, and advise on referencing.
You can contact your librarian by email.
You can also phone or ask for them at the Library Information Desk.

Skills for Study

Skills for Study is an interactive online tutorial which will help you to understand, practice and improve your study skills.
It includes modules on:
Getting ready for academic study
Reading and note-making
Critical thinking skills
Writing skills
Referencing and understanding plagiarism
Groupwork and presentations

Confidence with numbers
