Help in the Library

Discover more than just books
The Library is available to all Bradford College Students and Staff.
We provide books, journal articles, online resources, research and study skill tutorials.
We have Libraries at two locations which are staffed during term time as follows:
David Hockney Building
Monday to Thursday 8:30 am - 7:00 pm
Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
Trinity Green
Monday to Friday  10.00 am - 4.00 pm

One-to-one Support

Students are welcome to book one-to-one sessions with their Librarian.  Your Librarian can help you to identify relevant resources, offer refresher or advanced sessions on using databases or e-books, help using journals or finding information online, and advise on referencing.  The quickest way for you to contact your librarian is by email, but you can also phone or ask at the Library Information Desk. 

Skills for Study

Skills for Study is an interactive online tutorial which will help you to understand, practice and improve your study skills.

Includes modules on:
Getting ready for academic study
Reading and note-making
Critical thinking skills
Writing skills
Referencing and understanding plagiarism
Groupwork and presentations
Exam skills
Projects, dissertations and reports
Employability and personal development
Confidence with numbers
