What are Large Print books?
We have a selection of titles which have been published with larger font sizes to help those readers who may struggle to read regular print.
The size of a font is described in point size (pt) with regular printed items usually being 10 or 12 pt. Large print items will generally be published using 16 to 18 pt and will often be slightly bigger in physical size than regular items. If the font size if greater than this they are usually descibed as being giant print.
The College library has a collection of large print items so feel free to come along and have a look and check if we have anything right for you.
