Why read?

According to the Reading Agency , "Reading needs to be an everyday part of our lives".  Reading for pleasure is not only important for our heath and wellbeing but also has social benefits. "Reading increases our understanding of our own identity, improves empathy and gives us an insight into the world view of others".

Reading for pleasure can also help improve your English language skills, increase your vocabulary and could help improve your grades for your academic subjects.

The Quick Read titles area great starting point for students learning English as a second language.
