Library creative writing competition
It is time to unleash your inner author!
We are inviting everyone at Bradford College to enter our creative writing competition. We are on the lookout for made-up stories, which will be judged on originality, plot, characterisation, language and enjoyment. We ask that entries be written in the form of a story, not as a rap, poem, play or any other dialogue or style. We feel this will makes the competition fairer as entries can be judged using the same criteria.
There is a strict 600 word limit for stories, there is however no lower limit. There is no limit to the number of times you may enter, but every story needs to be completely original
Any entry we suspect has been created, written or developeed with the use of a generative AI tool will be disqualified.
How Can you to enter?
Once you have written your story and are happy with it you can submit it.
Make sure that you have saved your story in one of the following formats : .pdf | .doc | .docx | .txt | .odt | .rtf
If you have handwritten your story please use a College printer to scan and convert it into a pdf document.
We are really looking forward to seeing what you can create!
