You may have noticed that we've added two new collections to our Reading Collection in Hockney Library.
The Autobiographies and Biographies collection includes a wide range of books by and about interesting people from the worlds of sport, politics, and entertainment. Biographies are great places to turn to for inspiration. They detail the journey that successful people have made, often overcoming obstacles and challenges on their way to their chosen destination. We recommend I am Malala, the story of Malala Yousafzai who was shot by the Taliban and became a international campaigner for the education of girls and women.
The Large Print and Dyslexia Friendly collection is a small but growing collection of books written in dyslexia-friendly format, usually printed on off-white paper and using more readable fonts. We also have some books in the Dyslexie font. This collection also includes large print books.
