How we make resources available for all users
The Accessible Library
There are three Libraries at College and all of them offer step free access and other facilities to make studying easier height adjustable tables. Choose a Library to see how you can access it and the resources it offers

Hockney Library
Hockney Library is on the ground floor of the the David Hockney Building and has step free access. You can find the Library by walking straight past reception after coming through the barriers. (Follow the arrows to access the Library.)

Main Library
The main area of the Library has desks, some with lap tops where you can work as a group or an individual. It also has
  • 2 Height Adjustable Tables: these are for is you prefer to work standing up or are in a wheelchair.
  • Bookable study booths (find more about the booths here)
  • Self Issue laptops

Study Room

This is an area that is for those a need a quiet place to work and has individual study carrels and desks. It also has

  • A Height Adjustable Tables: if you prefer to work standing up or are in a wheelchair.
  • Laptops and an Apple MAC available on the work surfaces
  • Controllable light levels: including window blinds, dimmable lights  and lamps on individual desks. The room also has anti glare vinyl window coverings.

ATC Library
The ATC Library  is on the second floor of the the ATC Building near the top of the stairs.

For step free access use the lift just past the barriers in the ATC building. (Follow the arrows in the plan to access the lift) Once on the second floor turn left to find the Library.

The library provides a variety work spaces
  • A Height Adjustable Tables: these are for is you prefer to work standing up or are in a wheelchair.
  • Individual study carrels with fixed laptops
  • Tables with in built PCs, you will need to ask for the keyboards to use this

Trinity Green Library
The Trinity Green Library  is on the ground floor of Trinity Green, and has step free access and can be found just past Trinity Green reception in room 0.06, opposite the cafe.
(Follow the arrows to access the Library.)

The library provides a variety work spaces including

  • Bookable Study Booths (find more about the booths here)
  • Access to a study room, with individual study carrels and fixed laptops.
  • Laptops to borrow from the desk.
     
 
Trinity Green Library
Study Booths
You can use a study booth in either the Hockney Library or Trinity Green Library. These provide a good working environment with a minimum of distractions. The booths are
  • Sound proofed.
  • Allow you to control the light
  • Bookable up to a week in advance.
