14-16: Reading

YA Fiction

Young Adult Fiction
Young adult fiction is an exciting area of writing covering all genres, by authors who are not afraid to tackle hard-hitting themes.
While these books are aimed at 13 - 18 year olds, they are widely read by adults too.
There is a Young Adult (YA) collection in Victoria Building in the Rewards room.  Ask a member of staff if you would like to take a book home to read.  There is also a collection in the Reading Zone in Hockney Library.  For a full list, click here.
Most of the books are dyslexia-friendly.
