Contact us via Chat, Email or Teams if you need any help with finding or using resources, or with referencing.

Finding and borrowing books

You can borrow books from the Library - you just need your college student card.  You can reserve copies of books which are on the shelves, so that they are ready for you to pick up. To do this, find the book and click on Request a Copy, enter your ID number and PIN (year you were born).  You will need to collect the books from the Library.

You can also come to the library any time while college is open to take out and return books using our self-issue machines.

Find E-Books by using the Search box at the top of this page.  Click on the drop-down list and choose E-Books.

You can read e-books and online journal articles from any device with internet access.  Use your ID number and IT password to sign in. You will see an option to Read Online. Once you have opened the e-book, you can see that you can scroll through the pages, jump to a chapter or page, or search for a keyword

An E-Book is an exact copy of the print version on the shelves, so you can decide which format you prefer.

These journals and magazines are available online.
