Library Catalogue Help

How to use the Library Catalogue to find items and check your account
To reserve an item you need to find  it (see Standard Searching or Advanced Searching Tabs) on the Catalogue.

Once you have found the book you want, click on .

You will now need to log in using your College number and Library PIN
Your PIN  should be the year you were born, if this doesn't work please contact the Library desk during our staffed hours.

You will now be shown a Confirmation screen.

Once you click   Confirm request , the request will be placed and you will by taking to the Reqests tab in the Your Summary section of your account.

If you place a request on an item in stock in the Library, it will be available as soon as possible.

If you place a request on an item where all the copies are out on loan, any copies on loan will not be renewed until a copy is returned.

If more than one person requests an item, they will be ready to collect in the order the requests were made.

When a requested item is ready for you to collect, the Library will  send an email to your College email address asking you to come and collect the item from the Library Information Desk on the second floor of the David Hockney building.

You will need a valid College Card to collect your request from the Library. If you don't have a College Card you can get one printed at the enrollment desk at reception.

If you have not had a Back to College induction and are not allowed past the barriers please ask at reception or ring the Library and the items will be bought down to you.
