Citizenship: Requesting Books

Requesting items
If there is an item in the Library you want to borrow and you want to make sure it is waiting for you when you arrive at the Library then you need to use our Request and Collect service.
Once you receive an email telling you the requested item is ready to pick up, you will need to come the Library Information Desk to collect the item.
If you are not coming onto campus to study, or if you are shielding, you may be able to continue with postal loans.
If you want to still receive items through the post or have any other questions please email askalibrarian@bradfordcollege.ac.uk.

Requesting books from the library takes just a few clicks.
Once you have searched using the Library Catalogue you will get a list of results.
You can click on Request a copy from the results lists or item details page.
Once you have pressed Request a copy you will be asked to log in to your Library account.
Your College number is the one that appears on your College ID.
Your PIN is the year you were born.
Details of the requested item will be displayed.
Use Confirm request to complete the reservation.
You will now see the reservations section of your library account.
We will notify you using your College email address when items are available for you to pick up.
More information about requesting items can be found here.
