If the book is out on loan, you can usually request it so that when it is returned, it is kept for you to collect. Please note that we will let you know when your book is ready to collect by emailing your college email account.

You can borrow most items for 2 weeks.
- 2 week loan items will automatically renew for up to 20 times - unless another user requests an item, in which case you will be given 5 day notice to return that item.

PLEASE NOTE: if an item cannot be automatically renewed you will receive an email reminder telling you the item and date it must be returned by. If you do not return an item you will receive email reminders on the due date, 7 days after due date, 14 days after due date, and 28 days after due date.

Visualising Research by Visualizing Research guides postgraduate students in art and design through the development and implementation of a research project, using the metaphor of a 'journey of exploration'. Illustration by Successful, forward-thinking illustrators no longer operate the way many did and still do, as merely colouring-in technicians, receiving briefs that are heavily directed and prescribed regarding content and overall visual concept. Nowadays, illustrators need to be educated, socially and culturally aware communicators, having knowledge, understanding and insight regarding the context within which they are working, the subject matter that they are engaged with, and to be able professionals working within the parameters and needs of the market place and target audiences.
