ESOL: Readers

English as a second language

What are ESOL readers?

Your teachers will tell you that the more you read, the better your English language becomes. Reading in English improves your listening, speaking, reading, writing, pronunciation, fluency and confidence.  ESOL Graded Readers are specially adapted stories and non-fiction books graded at levels of difficulty from Starter to Advanced.   The ESOL readers in Bradford College are shelved by the ESOL Skills for Life levels and the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for languages)
