Library off-campus: Additional Resources

What help the Library can offer you whilst you can't get into the Library

Electronic Resources with temporary access during COVID-19

During the current COVID-19 pandemic many publishers have opened up their collections and extended their access to electronic resources to support remote learning and working.

Additional access to e-books

The majority of our e-book titles on Dawsonera and Ebook Central are now unlimited access in response to the current COVID-19 pandemic.

What does this mean?  You should be able to access the e-book immediately without waiting in a queue or being turned away because other users have already accessed the title online.  You will need to enter your college IT username and password to access the e-books.

Please email askalibrarian@bradfordcollege.ac.uk if you cannot access the e-book you require.

Access to additional resources during lockdown

Vocational learning resources

These resources are curriculum-mapped to NVQ, SVQ, BTEC, C&G, CACHE and NOS are engaging and interactive.  These learning resources use  realistic work-based scenarios within quizzes, case studies, animations and videos.  All resources support accessibility and inclusion, so alternative formats, such as transcripts or audio files, are available where needed.

These resources have been made freely available to the College by Jisc until 31st July 2020.
